Domain name and usage

Do I need a domain name?
No, you get a free domain with this offer.

Can I redirect my current domain name?
Yes. Without getting too technical this is a very easy process that our support team will help you with. But you have a couple of options:

Option 1: You can redirect your name servers to our server once you’re ready to publish, which will redirect everything – your domain name, website files, and email files.

Option 2: You can redirect your CNAME which will just be your website files and domain name direction.

Option 3: You can do a full transfer of your domain name to our server.

But again, our team has done this a few thousand times and will gladly support your effort.

Will my current website go down?

No, at least not until you’re ready. Your new Ministry Designs website will be launched in our development environment until either you migrate your content or we migrate your content and you approve it. Once that is done, you redirect your domain name to point at our server and notify your former provider that you’ve made the switch.
